Workshop Programs.

We Were Hidden gives young people the space to try new things, create, design, and show up as their full selves. Whether that’s building a website, designing a logo, or printing a t-shirt they helped bring to life, it’s all about one thing: owning your identity.

Because when you’ve spent a long time feeling invisible, even small wins can feel massive. That’s why everything we do comes back to the same goal—helping young people find who they are, and be proud of it.

HIDDEN NO LONGER.

We Were Hidden started as an idea—one of those “what if we actually did something that matters?” kind of ideas. What if we made streetwear that wasn’t just about looking good, but about doing good? What if we gave young people who’ve been overlooked the chance to express themselves, build skills, and feel proud of who they are? That’s exactly what we’re doing.

We're creating a movement. A rebellion against fast fashion, a platform for unheard voices. We want to open doors to real social change. We are a brand with purpose, connecting communities through creativity, style, and opportunity.

Born in the South West and built with heart, We Were Hidden is here to do things differently. We work with a varied mix of global artists to design limited-run collections that assist with funding to level up young people from underrepresented backgrounds.

Our Purposeful Journey.

We believe clothing can help people feel like themselves—really themselves. But for too many young people, especially those in care or alternative education, choice and self-expression aren’t always accessible. That’s where we come in.

A percentage of every sale goes straight back into our mission: helping young people explore who they are through design, creativity, and mentorship.

We run workshops in graphic design, fashion production, web building, and branding—the list goes on, all focused on real-world skills and real personal growth.

And we don’t stop there.
We also run a clothing support scheme. Some of the young people we work with are funded through their care plans to choose and wear the clothes they actually want—building confidence through style that reflects them. It’s about letting people see themselves differently—and letting the world see them too.
